The National Bureau of Statistics presents the statistical portrait of women and men in the Republic of Moldova based on available data.

According to the preliminary results of the 2024 Population and Housing Census, the number of the usually resident population, as of April 8, 2024, was 2401,2 thousand persons, of which women constituted 52,9% and men – 47,1%, respectively.
